Requirements
- At least 2 A levels with grades A-C or equivalent; recent graduates with proven customer service experience are welcome
- Confidence in engaging with individuals at various levels in diverse situations
- Proficient in IT and computer usage, demonstrating strong typing abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet various deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to foster and maintain relationships
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating effective problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset, even under pressure
Responsibilities
- Provide support to clients regarding policy coverage, monitor and report on patient status, and coordinate travel emergencies, ensuring thorough documentation of all case handling
- Proactively manage escalated inquiries and ensure complaints are addressed and recorded in line with company policy
- Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to regulatory principles and processes, including Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) policies
- Exercise care and consideration in managing cases, focusing on quality, complaint reduction, and cost control
- Assist in reviewing processes and identifying potential risks to enhance departmental efficiency and reduce costs
- Achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet business objectives, including call response rates and quality targets
- Encourage a proactive outbound call culture, setting clear service expectations for all clients and stakeholders
- Foster a customer-centric culture of continuous improvement, empowering employees to take ownership and contribute to business goals
