About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Practitioner to join our team in the management of altered airways and complex respiratory patients. The successful candidate will have advanced clinical expertise in respiratory care and be able to work independently or as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.

The role will involve providing expert clinical advice, training, and guidance to community teams and patients, as well as developing and implementing standards for clinical audit to evaluate clinical effectiveness and promote excellence within the service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory management, with experience in working with patients with complex respiratory needs. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to community teams and patients
  • Develop and implement standards for clinical audit to evaluate clinical effectiveness and promote excellence within the service
  • Work independently or as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and deliver training and education programs for community teams and patients
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and projects
