We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a key member of our community-based specialist team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients in Harrow.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing complex patient case management, pulmonary rehabilitation, oxygen therapy, and primary care education to patients with chronic respiratory disease and respiratory failure in the Harrow catchment area. You will work collaboratively with a multi-professional team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions between community and hospital settings.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic practitioner to join our expanding team. As a Respiratory Practitioner, you will have the autonomy to work flexibly, providing a 9am-5pm weekday service in community healthcare settings in Harrow. You will be required to work autonomously, making decisions and prioritizing actions to meet the needs of our patients.
Requirements- Registered physiotherapist with current HPC registration
- Postgraduate education in Respiratory Physiotherapy or equivalent combination of degree, short courses, and experience
- Experience of working with respiratory patients, including leading pulmonary rehabilitation programs
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Ability to motivate self and others, work under pressure, and prioritize actions
- Sound working knowledge of clinical governance and evidence-based practice
