Position Overview:
A unique opportunity has emerged at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a dedicated and skilled respiratory care professional. This role focuses on supporting patients with altered airways and complex respiratory conditions across North-Central London.
Service Background:
Established in 2023, this service is designed to enhance the management of complex respiratory patients, with a commitment to expanding its reach over the next year.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary objective of this role is to leverage respiratory expertise to:
- Facilitate timely hospital discharges for patients with altered airways.
- Support ongoing management in community settings.
- Provide comprehensive education and training to community healthcare teams.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in managing complex respiratory conditions, whether in acute or community environments. Experience in community healthcare, project management, or service development is highly desirable.
