Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a key member of our community-based specialist team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients in Harrow.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing complex patient case management, pulmonary rehabilitation, oxygen therapy, and primary care education to patients with chronic respiratory disease and respiratory failure in the Harrow catchment area. You will work collaboratively with a multi-professional team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions between community and hospital settings.

Requirements
  • Registered physiotherapist with current HPC registration
  • Postgraduate education in Respiratory Physiotherapy or equivalent combination of degree, short courses, and experience
  • Experience of working with respiratory patients, leading pulmonary rehabilitation programs, and providing physiotherapy interventions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, motivate self and others, and work autonomously
  • Sound working knowledge of clinical governance, evidence-based practice, and recent NHS policies/DoH agenda
