Respiratory Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Practitioner to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing expert clinical advice and support to patients with complex respiratory needs.
As a Respiratory Practitioner, you will be responsible for facilitating hospital discharge, supporting management in the community, and providing education and training to other community teams. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
We are looking for an individual with advanced skills in the management of altered airway and complex respiratory patients, with experience working in the community and a strong understanding of project management principles. You will be a dynamic and motivated person who can provide decisive and effective therapy input, demonstrate high-level communication skills, and work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients with complex respiratory needs
- Facilitate hospital discharge and support management in the community
- Develop and implement personalized care plans with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Provide education and training to other community teams
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
