About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Improvement Manager to join our team at the Care Quality Commission. As a Quality Improvement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the quality of care across health and social care services in England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and drive a quality improvement culture across the organization, supporting leaders and teams in identifying, scoping, planning, implementing, and measuring the impact of improvement initiatives.
  • Work on a variety of improvement initiatives to support the continuous improvement of our regulatory services, including leading QI-focused workshops and events to help stakeholders articulate their improvement priorities.
  • Create project charters for approval by the relevant committees and boards, and collaborate with the Quality Improvement Team to develop and refine QI processes.
  • Support the alignment of our QI methodology with practices in the health and social care sector, and provide expert guidance and support on improvement across the organization.
Requirements
  • Expertise in a range of proven QI and change methodologies, including experience of leading or facilitating multidisciplinary teams, teaching or facilitating learning to colleagues at all levels, and working with senior leaders.
  • Influencing skills and the ability to educate and motivate others to drive improvement.
  • Education to degree level or equivalent experience.
