Job Summary:

Theo James Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join an established manufacturing company that specializes in the production of complex components for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure all products meet rigorous industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Manage the quality management system, conduct audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the Head of Quality, representing the company within the leadership team to achieve business goals and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure full contract compliance across the organization, meeting customer, regulatory, and organizational requirements to deliver superior customer satisfaction.
  • Identify improvement strategies based on customer issues and QMS metrics to protect and enhance customer performance.
  • Lead the resolution of customer complaints, ensuring timely corrective and preventative actions are taken and tracked to closure.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and risk management across all levels of the business.
  • Chair quality meetings, report key metrics, and hold teams accountable for quality performance.
  • Oversee the APQP process, ensuring compliance for new projects and reporting regularly.
  • Empower all employees to stop production in the event of quality concerns and promote the quality message throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to driving excellence.
  • Knowledge of welding processes is preferable.
