Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at SJ Sourcing. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing processes to improve our quality management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to improve product quality and reduce defects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related complaints and issues.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as quality assurance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work a standard 40-hour week. The shift pattern for shift workers is a 4-shift pattern (Days (7am-7pm) and nights (7pm-7am), repeating every 4 weeks).

Compensation

The salary for this position is £30 per hour, plus various shift allowances. The estimated annual salary is £56,000.
