Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

The Thrive Team Limited is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring that products and materials supplied by external vendors meet required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Qualification:
    Assess and qualify new suppliers based on their capability to meet quality and HSE standards.
  2. Supplier Audits and Evaluations:
    Perform regular audits of suppliers to ensure ongoing compliance with quality and HSE standards.
  3. Sub-Contractor Management:
    Oversee and manage sub-contractors from an HSE and quality perspective, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  4. Issue Resolution:
    Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality and HSE issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  5. Relationship Management:
    Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure open communication and prompt resolution of any issues.
  6. Forecasting and Reporting:
    Forecast potential quality and HSE risks related to supplier and sub-contractor activities, and develop mitigation strategies.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure quality and HSE requirements are clearly communicated and understood by suppliers and sub-contractors.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience:
3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in supply chain or manufacturing environments.

Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, sub-contractors, and internal teams.
