About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Improvement Analyst to join our team at Baker Hughes Gruppe. As a key member of our Flexible Pipe Systems Offshore team, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to drive business improvement and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Costing Tool Ownership: You will be the owner of the Flexibles Costing Tool (FCT), responsible for ensuring its accuracy and efficiency in costing bids for our Newcastle and Niteroi plants.
  • Costing Tools Development: You will work closely with stakeholders to simplify, consolidate, and digitize our costing tools, ensuring the right processes and governance models are in place.
  • Digital Demand Requests: You will coordinate all digital demand requests, aligning with SMEs and leadership, and working closely with Digital Technology, Centre of Excellence, and other Product Lines to drive business case enrichment and prioritization.
  • Product Cost Out Activities: You will support product cost out activities for the region and provide support to Productivity Project Managers and other Business Improvement Analysts as required.
  • Ad-hoc Analytics and Dashboards: You will provide support with ad-hoc analytic and dashboard needs, ensuring timely and accurate data analysis.
  • Data Analysis Strategies: You will maintain and develop data analysis strategies and tools using VBA programming language, ensuring the highest level of data quality and integrity.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices: You will stay current on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and system architecture, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements
  • Education: A BSc in Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience: Experience with large/complex data sets and data warehousing/cleaning/visualization/analysis (e.g., PowerBI, BI/BW, Tableau, Spotfire, or any other relevant software).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in VBA programming language or System Architecture.
  • Database Design and Data Management: A strong understanding of database design and data management principles.
