Main Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct structured analysis to guide business decisions.
  • Collaborate proactively on diverse change initiatives using various methodologies.
  • Engage with stakeholders and multi-functional teams to implement changes and enhance core applications.
  • Perform comprehensive business analysis throughout the change lifecycle, evaluating options, risks, benefits, impacts, and costs.
  • Utilize a variety of business analysis tools and techniques to distill findings into actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering constructive dialogue.
  • Manage complex strategic analysis and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure alignment of change initiatives with governance and process controls.
  • Produce detailed specifications and define requirements for formal and informal change initiatives.

Key Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in applying a wide range of business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resilience and confidence to challenge conventional thinking while maintaining rapport.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to work.
  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with NHSBSA's strategic objectives and major programs.
  • Understanding of Government Standards for project delivery.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience in managing complex change programs as a Project Manager or Business Analyst.
  • Ability to derive requirements from strategic business goals.
  • Experience in overseeing resources in a project environment.

Desirable:

  • Background in NHS or large corporate settings.
  • Knowledge of business case principles and project governance.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Degree-level education or significant relevant experience.
  • BCSTM International Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent.

Desirable:

  • PRINCE2TM Practitioner certification.
  • APMG Agile Business Analysis Foundation & Practitioner certification.
