The FNZ Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst Tester to join our team. As a Business Analyst Tester, you will be responsible for analyzing and testing our financial services platform to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.
Key Responsibilities- Analysis:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the platform's functionality and business processes.
- Collaborate with Solution Consultants, SMEs, and Senior Analyst Testers to understand the features and design solutions.
- Produce high-quality systems artefacts and user stories.
- Work with Analyst Developers and Delivery/Project Managers to ensure business requirements are met.
- Ensure new business artefacts adhere to procedural and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Test Design & Preparation:
- Define acceptance criteria for each story and ensure they cover positive and negative testing scenarios.
- Write and produce artefacts to support testing activities.
- Test Execution and Defect Management:
- Perform structured and context-driven system, system integration, and regression testing.
- Review solutions, conduct regular functional reviews, and test changes end-to-end.
- Assist with user acceptance testing and client support activities.
- Document test cases, record defects, and record test case execution results.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Provide regular updates to the Delivery Manager on progress and key risks.
- Work with delivery teams internally and externally.
- Maintain high standards of written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor or Master's degree or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Understanding of financial markets and software delivery.
