Position Overview
Our JM Glendinning North Yorkshire office is expanding due to ongoing success, and we are seeking a skilled Insurance Account Executive with experience in either Commercial or Personal Lines.
Your Role
As an Insurance Account Executive, you will be pivotal in overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients and their insurance policies. You will collaborate closely with clients to assess their needs, provide expert recommendations, and guarantee they receive optimal insurance solutions. This role is based in our North Yorkshire office, offering the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements to promote a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients, comprehending their insurance needs and offering professional counsel.
- Policy Administration: Manage the comprehensive administration of personal insurance policies, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.
- Renewals and Upselling: Actively oversee policy renewals, recognize upselling prospects, and contribute to the expansion of the client portfolio.
- Market Awareness: Remain updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and new products to provide well-informed advice to clients.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims specialists, to deliver thorough and effective insurance solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience as a Personal Lines or Commercial Account Handler or in a comparable role within the insurance sector.
- In-depth knowledge of personal insurance products and relevant regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office applications.
