We are seeking a dedicated Membership and Engagement Specialist to oversee our membership support initiatives.


This role presents an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in member support and engagement, along with your administrative capabilities, within a dynamic and nurturing charitable organization.

Job Details


This position offers flexibility, primarily allowing for remote work, with occasional travel required for meetings and events.

We are open to various working arrangements, including job sharing. This role is initially structured as a two-year contract, with the potential for extension.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in supporting members or stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive customer service orientation
  • Strong administrative capabilities
  • Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with customer relationship management, survey tools, and communication/marketing platforms
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee our membership operations
  • Manage member record systems (currently utilizing Salesforce, Mailchimp, Sharepoint, SurveyMonkey)
  • Facilitate member communications
  • Ensure efficient collection of member contributions
  • Address member inquiries and general questions
Compensation:

£33,000 annually

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position, comprising 35 hours per week (with job sharing options available).
