About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Estimating Manager to join our team at Integral UK. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue through the development and execution of sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets
  • Manage and report on the status of quotes, providing accurate information to account coordinators for customer reports
  • Collaborate with account coordinators to improve the quality and timeliness of quote submissions
  • Work with operational teams to increase engineer lead generation and quality of information
  • Produce quotations for remedial works and issue them to customers
  • Generate contract renewal proposals to retain existing customers
  • Chase outstanding remedial quotes and renewals to improve conversion rates
  • Revisit and reissue any rejected quotes on customer portals
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best-value costings are achieved
  • Provide customer support and respond to queries related to remedial quotations and contract renewals
  • Action customer queries and requests in a timely manner, escalating as required
  • Liaise efficiently with customers, service engineers, and the wider Integral UK team
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of all relevant IT systems
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize conversions and margins
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in the fire engineering industry with a good understanding of fire engineering service contracts
  • Experience of developing service quotations/bids
  • Understanding of construction programs, building regulations, and fire industry standards and legislation
  • Creative approach with the ability to maintain and develop positive customer relationships
  • Strong commercial awareness with demonstrable numerical skills
  • Ideal experience in a similar sales/estimating role within the fire protection industry
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and efficiency
  • Proven IT skills with experience of MS office packages
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously as well as an effective team player in a close-knit and highly successful team
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with the natural ability to engage with customers/clients representing Integral UK professionally and positively
  • Experience in dealing with end users, insurers, and main contractors
