Job Summary

The Sales and Service Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and delivering exceptional consumer experiences in retail environments. They will be accountable for achieving this by:

• Maintaining a professional brand image and consistently delivering high-quality service to internal and external consumers.

• Maximizing sales through effective selling, merchandising, and visual presentation.

• Contributing to operational efficiencies by adhering to company procedures and guidelines.

Sales and Service

• Understand daily and weekly sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.

• Stay up-to-date with competitor activities and identify opportunities to drive business growth.

• Effectively leverage digital channels to drive sales and enhance the brand image.

• Deliver the brand strategy by implementing local marketing and events initiatives aligned with retailer activity.

• Develop and execute a consumer recruitment and retention strategy to grow a loyal consumer base.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products to deliver an industry-leading experience and meet consumer needs.

Operations

• Plan and execute daily operations to deliver excellent standards in product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing.

• Review retail standards daily to ensure they meet company requirements.

• Ensure timely delivery of stock, manage stock movements, and complete associated administration within agreed timeframes.

• Implement auditable processes and administration to company guidelines and take corrective action in highlighted areas of risk.

• Minimize stock loss by implementing company security policies and procedures.

• Create and maintain a safe working environment for consumers, adhering to company and retailer policies and procedures.

Commerciality

• Manage daily replenishment, taking appropriate action where necessary.

• Maximize sales performance by utilizing commercial reports before making decisions.

• Plan and deliver visual merchandising layouts, ensuring they meet company guidelines and timescales.

• Identify stock package issues and take corrective action, informing the area manager when out of direct control.

• Effectively manage promotions and discounts, ensuring they are actioned in line with company guidelines.

• Identify trends and suggest enhancements to product performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environments.

• Ability to drive self-development and commercial understanding.

• Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
