Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor to join our team at German Doner Kebab. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the Front of House team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Front of House team to ensure excellent customer service and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Oversee and manage the Front of House area, including the reception, dining area, and counter.
  • Ensure that all team members are well-trained and equipped to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Manage cash handling and petty cash, including preparing cash drawers and counting tills.
  • Collaborate with the General Store Manager to coordinate all aspects of the Front of House, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure that all employees adhere to company uniform standards and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Meet and greet customers, organize table reservations, and ensure that all guests have a positive experience.
  • Organize and supervise the shifts of dining and counter staff, including leading pre- and post-shift rallies to communicate set targets and share feedback.
  • Monitor Front of House operations and initiate corrective actions to ensure that all areas are operating according to company guidelines.
  • Address guest complaints and take action to resolve the problem, ensuring that all employees are aware of the root cause and take steps to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure that all employees are well-groomed and smart ready for work, and promote and follow legal responsibilities and requirements associated with the business.
  • Have a good working knowledge of all equipment and efficiently take care of preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as Supervisor/Duty Manager within the food industry
  • Demonstrated experience in guest service management
  • Extensive guest care knowledge
  • Proficiency in English
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
  • Financial management skills
