Position Overview

WSS Partners is currently seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to enhance our Facilities Management team. This pivotal role will oversee the management of our headquarters and will include direct supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of postal service personnel to ensure efficient mail and courier operations, regularly assessing service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Supervise the front desk team, delivering exceptional and friendly guest services.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of postal and reception services.
  • Oversee the Facilities Assistant's activities.
  • Manage the Facilities Mailbox, providing timely and effective responses to service requests.
  • Assist the Senior Facilities Manager in maintaining health and safety standards, including conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with procedures and training.
  • Act as the Incident Control Manager for the facility, collaborating with the Incident Management Team.
  • Monitor the performance of service providers (e.g., cleaning, landscaping, pest control, courier, and postal services) to ensure adherence to service level agreements and budget constraints.
  • Maintain compliance records using Meridian.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support the professional development of team members.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and sub-tenants.
  • Oversee energy management initiatives to optimize energy usage throughout the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar Facilities Management role.
  • Relevant qualifications such as IWFM, IOSH, or equivalent.
  • Experience in project management and CHURN processes.
  • Familiarity with building HVAC systems.
  • Exceptional people management and communication abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Financial acumen and commercial awareness.
