The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for all cost budgeting, forecasting, management, and reporting within the Design and Development function. This includes tracking and reporting on cross-functional CapEx budgets and working together with Commercial Finance to turn capital management into cashflow forecasting and management.

Requirements
- Extensive experience / postgraduate professional experience in surveying or development.
- Track record of delivering outstanding design-led projects.
- Experience in managing a large team, mentoring and developing more junior team members in meeting their potential.
- Experience in the workplace sector preferred.
- Understanding, if not experience, of the flexible workspace sector.
- Experience in the hospitality, retail or entertainment sectors.
- Strong knowledge of global procurement trends and experience outside the UK is an advantage.
- RICS chartered surveying membership preferred.
- BSc/MSc in relevant design course preferrable.
- Business acumen and commercial understanding.
- Excellent understanding and skills - MS Office.
- Experience in partnering with Senior Stakeholders.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to relate to a vision and goals and to empower to achieve them.
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with senior stakeholders, internal teams and external consultants.
- An innovative and creative approach.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
