Job Title: Security Officer - Commercial

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our Commercial team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of customer service and remain approachable throughout your shift.
  • Conduct regular site patrols and tasks across the premises, including the car park.
  • Ensure the security and safety of life and property for the Centre.
  • Enforce health and safety checks and report any non-compliances promptly.
  • Handle and report incidents on site in a swift and efficient manner.
  • Assist in security protocols for Centre evacuation.
  • Hold keys and maintain the security of all areas.
  • Operate the Control Room function efficiently.
  • Assist with car park operations and functions.
  • Comply with GDPR regulations when dealing with sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of retail security experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • SIA Door Supervision and CCTV badge is essential.
  • Excellent timekeeping and shift attendance are essential.
  • Valid right to work documentation and a 5-year traceable work history are required.
  • The ability to remain calm in a pressurized environment.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict management skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving and dynamic decision-making skills are essential.
  • IT literacy in Microsoft Office.
  • Report writing is essential.
  • Familiarity with Control Room equipment and functions.
  • Availability to work a 7-day shift pattern, including nights.
