Role Responsibilities

As the Senior Bid Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the complete bid process for specific projects, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, client-focused proposals. You will work closely with Project Managers and tender teams to create and implement successful proposals that resonate with client needs.

Your role will also involve applying your commercial and technical knowledge to support account management and regional business activities, fostering effective teamwork across the wind division.

Key Duties

In collaboration with a multidisciplinary project team, you will engage in various local and international wind projects, handling a diverse array of tasks, including:

Leading the entire bid process proactively, coordinating the efforts of Ramboll's global engineering and advisory teams in the wind sector to ensure the submission of high-quality, tailored proposals. Assisting in the development of a bid strategy by working with internal and external stakeholders, crafting compelling value propositions, and guiding tender teams in the planning and creation of proposals aligned with established strategies. Planning, preparing, and compiling persuasive, well-structured proposals and bid documents. Utilizing and managing Ramboll's internal tools and processes (e.g., CRM, project excellence, decision gates) to efficiently track and develop opportunities, streamline project team communication, and consolidate necessary inputs from relevant teams. Enhancing our sales processes, tools, templates, and standard content to improve efficiency and incorporate industry best practices.

Team Dynamics

You will be part of our international Business Intelligence & Sales function, which provides support to Ramboll's global wind division with client and market insights across various regions and is responsible for bid management and sales processes. You will coordinate, guide, and support cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with client and Ramboll Group requirements and guidelines.

Candidate Profile

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Business Communication, Engineering) or equivalent relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in proposal or bid management, preferably within the energy sector. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (C1 level expected). A collaborative team player with robust project management skills, capable of working with minimal supervision. A customer-centric approach combined with a solution-oriented and organized work style. Familiarity with public/private procurement processes and knowledge of commercial, contractual, and execution models.
