Your Role

As the Senior Bid Manager, you will be instrumental in steering project-specific bidding processes from inception to completion, ensuring the punctual delivery of high-caliber, client-focused proposals. You will work in close partnership with Project Managers and tender teams to craft and implement effective, client-oriented proposals.

Your commercial and technical acumen will provide essential support for account management and regional business activities, fostering productive collaborations across the wind sector.

Key Responsibilities

Within a multidisciplinary project team, you will engage in a variety of local and international wind initiatives, managing a diverse array of tasks, including:

Leading the complete bid process proactively, coordinating efforts among Ramboll's global engineering and advisory teams in the wind sector to ensure the delivery of high-quality, customized proposals. Assisting in the formulation of a bid strategy by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, crafting compelling value propositions, and guiding tender teams in the planning and development of proposals that align with established strategies. Planning, preparing, and compiling persuasive, well-structured proposals and bid documentation. Utilizing and managing Ramboll's internal systems and processes (e.g., CRM, project excellence, decision gates) to efficiently track and develop opportunities, enhance project team communication, and consolidate necessary inputs from relevant teams. Improving our sales methodologies, tools, templates, and standard content to enhance efficiency and integrate industry best practices.

Your Team

You will be part of our international Business Intelligence & Sales division, which provides support to Ramboll's global wind sector with client and market insights across various regions and oversees its bid management and sales processes. You will coordinate, guide, and assist cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with client and Ramboll Group standards and guidelines.

About You

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Business Communication, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in proposal or bid management, ideally within the energy sector. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C1 level expected). A collaborative team player with strong project management capabilities, expected to operate with minimal supervision. A customer-centric mindset along with a solution-oriented and organized approach to work. Familiarity with public/private procurement processes and commercial, contractual, and execution models.
