Road Safety Operations Coordinator

Role Overview
In collaboration with the Road Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the execution and coordination of a comprehensive occupational road risk strategy aimed at minimizing vehicle accidents, injuries, and associated costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Implementation: Drive the execution of road risk strategies to enhance awareness among drivers and the business, ultimately reducing incidents and costs.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster communication with key stakeholders to promote positive behaviors related to road safety. Initiate regular safety campaigns to maintain a high level of awareness.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize leading indicators related to road risk to inform actions and implement preventive measures.
- Risk Mitigation: Collaborate closely with the Logistics Delivery team to address specific risks associated with Heavy Goods Vehicles and our logistics operations.
- Cost Management: Safeguard against driver-related costs concerning maintenance and hire damage by ensuring timely reporting of incidents and efficient handling of charges.
- Proven experience as a Road Safety Practitioner or in a related field within the fleet industry.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including data analysis capabilities.
- Ability to analyze data to identify trends and behaviors.
- Experience in creating dashboards and reports.
- Familiarity with Office 365 applications.
- A valid UK Driving Licence is required for travel to various locations.

- Competitive salary up to £39,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and skills.
- 26 days of annual leave, increasing to 28 with length of service, in addition to bank holidays.
