Key Responsibilities:

Manage the health, safety, and well-being of the organization’s primary facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. Formulate, execute, and uphold health, safety, and well-being policies, ensuring alignment with current legislation and industry standards. Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations across all operational areas, including engineering, assets, and services, while developing and implementing risk reduction strategies. Carry out safety inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and proposing corrective measures. Create and deliver training sessions on health, safety, and well-being for all personnel. Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, providing detailed reports and actionable recommendations. Collaborate with Human Resources and other departments to foster well-being initiatives and enhance employee health and morale. Prepare and present performance reports on health, safety, and well-being to senior leadership. Integrate safety and well-being practices into all business operations, offering expert guidance and support.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing safety protocols for various facilities. Relevant professional certification such as Nebosh Diploma or NVQ level 5, IOSH, or equivalent. In-depth knowledge of health and safety laws and best practices. Strong communication and training abilities. Valid UK driving license.

Benefits:

Competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum based on experience, plus a car allowance of £4,500 per annum. Generous annual leave of 26 days, increasing to 30 with length of service, in addition to bank holidays. Contributory pension scheme with a maximum of 12% employer contribution.
