Senior Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at The Recruitment Co. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Duties: Coaching, training, and development of employees, identifying and implementing improvements in partnership with HR, adhering to internal performance management procedures.
  • Accident/Incident Investigations: Conducting team-based investigations as and when they arise.
  • Health and Safety: Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to and maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
  • Continuous Improvement: Supporting the development and oversight of the continuous improvement process.
  • Team Management: Managing your team to monitor and improve working methods to increase productivity and/or safety.
  • Warehouse Planning: Planning and organizing warehouse functions to be carried out in a timely and effective manner, including planning of manning and sawing activities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Good secondary education or time served equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a management role, preferably in the manufacturing environment for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Skills: People management skills, Six Sigma/LEAN experience preferred.
