Senior Warehouse Team Leader

Our client, a leading international manufacturer based in Bolton, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaching and training of employees to improve performance and productivity
  • Conducting investigations into accidents and incidents, and implementing measures to prevent recurrence
  • Ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety procedures
  • Supporting the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Managing the warehouse team to optimize productivity and efficiency
Requirements:
  • Good secondary education or equivalent
  • Experience in a management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • People management skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of SAP and hand-held scanner systems an advantage
