Senior Team Leader Opportunity


The Recruitment Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our client, an international manufacturer based in Bolton. As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for coaching, training, and developing employees, as well as planning and organizing warehouse functions to ensure timely and effective execution.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership and Development: Identify and implement training programs in partnership with HR, adhere to internal performance management procedures, and manage underperformance.
  • Warehouse Operations: Plan and organize warehouse functions, including planning of manning and sawing activities, to ensure efficient execution.
  • Logistics and Operations: Support the implementation of internal policies and procedures for continuous improvement, including site saw strategy, material flow analysis, and transport coordination and management.
  • Team Management: Manage your team to supervise material movement, coordinate third-party service providers, and ensure timely and efficient execution in own warehouse as well as external locations.
  • Contractor Management: Manage external contractors via the permit to work process.

Requirements:


  • Experience in SAP and hand-held scanner systems.
  • IT savvy and able to implement technology solutions to improve warehouse operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
