Senior Warehouse Team Leader

Our client, a leading international manufacturer based in Bolton, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coaching and developing employees to achieve their full potential
  • Conducting investigations into accidents and incidents
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Supporting the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Managing the warehouse team to optimize productivity and efficiency
  • Planning and organizing warehouse functions to meet business needs
  • Supporting the implementation of operational policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Good secondary education or equivalent
  • Experience in a management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • People management skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and LEAN principles
