About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Manager to lead the Business Partner Team for one of our client councils. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing management and technical accounting services to District and Borough Councils within the Southeast Lincolnshire Councils Partnership.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CCAB Qualified Accountant to develop their skills and experience in a dynamic and innovative environment. You will work closely with other Strategic Finance Managers to provide consistent and efficient analysis of financial management data to our client councils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the Business Partner Team in setting annual budgets for a diverse range of public sector services.
  • Report financial performance and support the technical team on completion of the final accounts.
  • Provide support to budget managers and prepare reports to update stakeholders on the financial performance of the organisation.
Requirements
  • Fully CIPFA/CIMA/ACCA qualified.
  • Experienced in public sector finance.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team as well as manage workloads within tight timescales.

About Our Client

PSPS (Public Sector Partnership Services) is a Local Authority Trading Company (LATCo) which is wholly owned by East Lindsey District Council, South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council. The Company operates from its offices in Spalding, Boston, and Horncastle.

The Company primarily delivers these services to its three client Councils, in support of the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (S&ELCP), across the Company itself and externally to a resident population of approximately 305,000 across the geographical boundaries of South Holland, East Lindsey and Boston.
