About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Designer to join our team at NHS Blood and Transplant. As a Senior Service Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our services, ensuring that they are intuitive, efficient, and meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement service design strategies that align with our organisational goals and user needs.
  • Lead the creation and iteration of design artefacts, including prototypes and service maps, to inform and improve our services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design solutions are feasible, effective, and meet user needs.
  • Champion the use of human-centred design principles and methodologies throughout the organisation.
  • Design and facilitate co-design workshops with stakeholders, including end-users, to gather feedback and insights.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Service Designer who is passionate about creating user-centred solutions. You will have a strong understanding of service design principles and methodologies, as well as experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects.

You will be a confident communicator and facilitator, able to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including end-users, to gather feedback and insights. You will also have a strong understanding of the NHS and its services, as well as experience working in a similar role.
