Senior Service Designer

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Service Designer to collaborate with our team at Zebra People, a higher education institution dedicated to enhancing their educational mission and workforce.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation undergoing significant change initiatives. As a Senior Service Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future state of our services, working across multiple programmes to deliver user-centred solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of our organisational landscape and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Conducting research to inform design decisions and drive business outcomes
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to distill complex information into actionable insights
  • Providing expertise to inform decision-making around digital services, technology, and data

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in Service Design, with a strong understanding of both digital and physical elements
  • Operational efficiency and organisational structure expertise
  • Able to demonstrate the impact of your work
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and justify decisions

This role is ideal for someone with senior stakeholder experience, a background in handling large-scale organisations, and a passion for higher education or the public sector. You'll be joining a collaborative team who thrive on challenges and are passionate about delivering user-centred solutions.

Salary: Up to £65,000

Flexible working arrangement: 2 days/month on-site (easily accessible from London)
