Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the advancement of agile methodologies within a prominent financial services organization. As an Agility Lead in Risk Technology, you will be pivotal in promoting the adoption and ongoing enhancement of Agile practices across our teams. Your extensive expertise in product development methodologies and Lean-Agile principles will be essential in guiding teams towards a culture of collaboration, innovation, and exceptional performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire and mentor teams to embrace a Lean-Agile mindset, fostering open communication and engagement to ensure continuous improvement aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Utilize advanced communication and facilitation skills to influence stakeholders and effectively convey organizational challenges to leadership.
  • Develop and execute operational and transformation strategies, prioritizing tasks and managing resources to meet product goals efficiently through data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify emerging trends and generate innovative ideas to shape new policies and best practices within the agile discipline.
  • Provide mentorship and support to individuals and teams, enhancing organizational adaptability and delivery effectiveness.
  • Facilitate impactful events and sessions, including team reviews, retrospectives, workshops, and training to enhance team performance.
  • Continuously expand personal and team knowledge of the latest advancements in agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with agile thought leaders to address challenges and enhance organizational agility.
  • Support effective strategies for scaling agility, ensuring transparency and minimizing dependencies across teams.
  • Assist in removing obstacles that hinder agility and effectiveness for both teams and the organization.
  • Promote team health and effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative assessments across key cultural and structural dimensions.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in coaching teams and individuals on Lean-Agile practices and project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of various product development lifecycle stages and methodologies.
  • Expertise in agile delivery methods, including Scrum, Kanban, and scaling frameworks, with a focus on iterative progress.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications in Scrum Mastery and Team Coaching.
  • Strong understanding of facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and training within a Lean-Agile context.
  • Experience in software development leadership or engineering.
  • Extensive background in Scrum Master and agile team coaching.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and similar platforms.
  • Experience in the financial services or regulatory industry.
