Agile Transformation Leader

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive the adoption of agile methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within a premier financial institution.
As an Agility Lead within Risk Technology, you will be pivotal in championing the integration and ongoing enhancement of Agile practices across our teams. Utilizing your extensive expertise in product development methodologies and Lean-Agile principles, you will provide guidance, mentorship, and support to teams, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance environment. As a recognized authority in the field, you will address complex challenges, exercise sound judgment, and make impactful decisions that influence the operational and strategic direction of your area.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire and coach teams to embrace a Lean-Agile mindset, promoting open communication and engagement to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Utilize advanced communication and facilitation skills to manage stakeholder relationships and effectively convey organizational challenges to leadership.
- Develop and execute operational and transformation strategies, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources to meet product objectives efficiently through data-driven decision-making.
- Identify emerging trends and contribute innovative ideas to enhance policies and best practices within the discipline.
- Mentor and support individuals and teams in adapting to a culture of agility and effective delivery.
- Facilitate impactful events and sessions for teams, including reviews, retrospectives, workshops, and training as necessary.
- Continuously enhance personal and team knowledge with the latest advancements in agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with agile thought leaders across the organization to address challenges and improve overall agility.
- Support effective scaling and de-scaling of agile practices, ensuring transparency and minimizing dependencies across teams.
- Assist in removing obstacles that hinder agility and effectiveness for both teams and the organization.
- Monitor and cultivate team health and effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative measures across key cultural dimensions.
- Extensive experience or equivalent expertise in a relevant domain, particularly in coaching teams on Lean-Agile practices and project management.
- Advanced understanding of various product development lifecycle stages and methodologies, enabling effective team support.
- Proficient in agile delivery and multiple agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP), with the ability to guide teams through complex projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Certifications in Scrum Master and Team Coaching, such as PSM 2/3, A-CSM, CSP-SM, ICP-ATF, ICP-ACC, ICE-AC.
- Deep understanding of the core competencies of facilitating, coaching, mentoring, and leading in a Lean-Agile context.
- Substantial experience in software development roles, including leadership, engineering, or testing.
- Proven track record as a Scrum Master and agile team coach.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Jira Align, Lucidspark, and Confluence.
- Experience in the financial services or regulatory industry.
