Job Summary

Page Personnel is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join their team in Woking. As a key member of the Accountancy team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of our monthly payroll process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate and audit all inputs for both UK and Ireland, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
  • Reconcile payroll, benefits, and data to ensure seamless processing.
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhere to payroll policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in payroll records, maintaining data integrity.
  • Prepare and provide relevant data for internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Work closely with the selected payroll bureau to ensure accurate processing and timely delivery.

  • Fulfill HMRC and Pension regulator requirements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Process monthly pension scheme uploads and processing, maintaining accurate records.
  • Support the Head of Operations in calculating, communicating, and managing various incentive schemes for employees, including short-term incentives, site incentives, long-term incentives, and other share schemes.
  • Support the annual pay review and bonus review process, preparing reports to support the budget process and annual reward ranges.
  • Support the annual renewal process and system updates in the payroll system, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Prepare data for benchmarking companies on an annual basis, maintaining accurate records.
  • Responsible for the HR Scorecard, ensuring all Headcount, Absence, and Talent numbers are up to date and accurate.
  • Track headcount and turnover reports on a monthly basis, communicating any shifts in expected trends.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in payroll software and systems is essential, as is a thorough understanding of payroll policies and procedures.
