The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar position, with a working knowledge of payroll software and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage payroll calculations, checks, and processing for a large number of employees.
  2. Understand tax codes and regulations.
  3. Respond to all payroll-related inquiries.
  4. Collate and communicate the yearly payroll calendar to all staff.
  5. Update the Payroll Master spreadsheet with HR-related changes and collect evidence for payroll purposes.
  6. Check and review monthly payroll and payroll calculations before final submission.
  7. Manage benefits administration, liaising with managers to support benefits as required.
Requirements:
  1. Proven track record in a similar position.
  2. Excellent working knowledge of Excel and ability to use VLOOKUP and Pivot tables.
  3. Genuine team player attitude.
  4. A results-driven individual who can think outside the box.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
Details:

Job Title: Payroll and Benefits Advisor

Salary: £23.10 per hour PAYE

Location: Offices located in the UK

Contract: Temporary

This is an office-based role, working 4-5 days per week.
