About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead our People Services Delivery Team. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering transactional HR advice and support to our colleagues and managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coordinate, plan, and support the delivery of first-line support to colleagues and managers on all areas of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, payroll, and system administration.
  • Manage resource plans, service performance, and people services technical capability to achieve cyclical and project activity, service level agreements, and maintain customer satisfaction standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase service capability through coaching and guidance to People Services Administrators and service users.
  • Interpret and apply HR policy, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and feedback to develop multi-skilled operational teams in a high-volume environment.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of coordinating and delivering transactional HR advice and support within a diverse and unionized organization.
  • Experience of successful resource and activity planning, ideally within a shared service environment working across multiple teams to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Proven track record of interpreting and applying HR policy.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and feedback skills with evidence of developing multi-skilled operational teams in a high-volume environment.
