Job Summary

The Senior Call Handler Team Leader will be responsible for managing a high-quality and efficient administrative workforce within the locality. This role requires a driven, inspirational, and motivational leader who can provide excellent telephone manner, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of call handlers to provide 24-hour telephone advice and support to people who use services and carers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience and service development.
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide comprehensive training and support to staff.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical systems and policies.
  • Contribute to the development of the service, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.

Requirements

  • Experience of service user contact and management of staff.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Leadership and training skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of clinical systems and policies.
