We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Divisional Medical Director to lead our Unplanned Care Division. As a key member of our senior medical leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering high-quality, patient-centered medical specialty services.
Main Responsibilities- Maintain high-quality patient-centered care
- Shared responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service and participation in strategic planning
- Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
- Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
- Active participation in continuing medical education
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and management, with experience of budgetary management and control. You will also have a qualification in medical leadership and be able to evidence engagement with clinical governance and the identification of errors and the learning from errors.
