Reserving Software Product Leader for Insurance Industry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Director to join our strategic leadership team for ResQ, our market-leading reserving and financial reporting software suite. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge product functionality and driving innovation in the reserving industry.
Key Responsibilities- Product Vision and Strategy: Collaborate with our senior leadership team to define and refine technical approaches and concepts that support our product vision, aligning with wider business strategies.
- Requirements Definition: Create written requirements to ensure engineering teams have a deep understanding of the business context for their work, driving the development of software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the reserving industry, informing our product development roadmap.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with our senior reserving consulting team globally to understand local market needs and priorities, ensuring our product meets the evolving needs of our clients.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with other product leaders to explore opportunities for synergies and common approaches, driving innovation and growth across our product portfolio.
- Actuarial Experience: Practical experience in P&C reserving, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.
- Software Development Experience: Proven experience in software development or product management, with a focus on commercial applications.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and provide clear status updates.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
