The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Reserving Actuary with a passion for software development to join our strategic leadership team for ResQ. In this Director-level role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of P&C reserving by leveraging your expertise to guide product development and deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define new product capabilities, aligning with WTW's vision for the P&C reserving suite of solutions.
  • Identify and refine technical approaches, conducting market research, leading client discussions, and providing practical user feedback to the development team.
  • Create detailed written requirements to ensure engineering teams fully understand the business context of their work.
  • Partner with our global reserving consulting team to gather insights into local market needs and priorities.
  • Collaborate with other product leaders, exploring opportunities for synergies and common approaches across product lines.
  • Lead and mentor a team of software development professionals (potential opportunity based on candidate preference).
