The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to leverage their reserving expertise in software development, collaborating with senior leadership to guide development in alignment with WTW's long-term strategy for the P&C reserving solution suite.

ResQ is our premier software suite, delivering P&C reserving and financial reporting functionalities. Our capabilities are evolving rapidly as we consistently invest in our software and enhance reserving best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

A Director-level position within the strategic leadership team for ResQ. The successful candidate will report to the Global Proposition Leader (GPL) for Reserving, collaborating with a diverse array of software development specialists to define new product functionalities in accordance with broader business strategies. This role will contribute subject matter expertise in reserving to the overall team. Identify and refine technical strategies and concepts that support the product vision, in alignment with the broader product strategies established by the GPL and the wider Technology leadership. This may involve outlining proof of concepts, leading client discussions, providing practical user feedback to the development team, and conducting detailed market research. Responsible for drafting written requirements to ensure that the engineering teams understand the business context of their work. Collaborate with our global senior reserving consulting team to grasp local market needs and priorities. Share product vision with other product leaders and explore opportunities for synergies and common methodologies. Opportunities for people/line management may be available within the role, tailored to the successful candidate's priorities and preferred working style.
