Opportunity: Team Leaders and Technical Experts for FCDO-Funded Contracts

We are seeking experienced and passionate individuals to join our team as Team Leaders and Technical Experts for anticipated contracts funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). These roles will contribute to cutting-edge global programming across various sectors.

Key Areas of Focus:
  • Health and Humanitarian: Global health security, strengthening global health architecture, health systems strengthening, ending preventable deaths of mothers, newborns, and children, empowering women and girls, humanitarian assistance, and resilience to underlying drivers of humanitarian crises.
  • Education, Gender, and Social Inclusion: Education system strengthening, education in conflict and crisis contexts, ending gender-based violence, gender equality mainstreaming, social system strengthening, inclusion, social norms, and behaviors.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for senior leaders with a proven track record in complex program design and delivery, particularly in fragile and conflict-affected states. Candidates should possess extensive experience leading FCDO/UK government international development programs (preferably commercial contracts) and managing consortia of international and local partners.

Strong skills in program design and development, advocacy, networking with international and national institutions, and a deep understanding of the FCDO's operational footprint are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, critical thinking, organizational, and representational abilities.

Fluency in English is required. Prior experience as a Team Leader, Deputy Team Leader, Technical Director, or similar role for FCDO would be highly advantageous. For technical roles, extensive technical expertise in health and/or education, gender, and social inclusion in development and humanitarian settings is crucial.
