In this position, you will assess the specific requirements of each client, crafting and delivering customized solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance revenue from parts and services while fostering relationships through effective phone communication, positioning yourself as a key contact for our clients. You will provide guidance and support to our customers, as well as assist in generating leads, becoming an integral part of our sales approach.Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management – Conduct regular communication cycles, cultivate customer relationships, promote relevant products and services, and increase account revenue through parts and service sales, including the ability to sell Customer Service Agreements.
  • Lead Generation – Collaborate with field sales representatives, maintaining consistent communication with clients, promoting offers, processing orders, and supporting field sales as needed.
  • Business Development – Follow up on service reports from engineers, provide quotes for necessary repairs, and explore additional revenue opportunities.
  • Professional Growth – Participate in regional meetings, visit your customer base, and accompany field sales representatives on customer visits (overnight stays may be necessary) to facilitate progression into a field sales role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a sales environment is advantageous
  • Telesales experience is preferred
  • Proficient PC skills are essential, with the ability to learn new systems
  • Prior experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • A full, clean driving license is required.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage a regional customer database of approximately 400 clients via telephone
  • Maintain CRM records and develop customer relationships with Finning
  • Generate leads for assigned field account managers
  • Follow up on business development opportunities
  • Actively promote marketing campaigns, offers, and events
  • Effectively manage call cycles
  • Plan repeat calls to meet customer needs
  • Ensure accurate account details and machine population in your database to support marketing initiatives
  • Handle all online leads and inbound calls daily
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and assigned clients
  • Engage with key decision-makers
  • Promote all aspects of Finning, from parts and services to Customer Service Agreements
  • Act as the account manager for clients
  • Recommend Finning support services tailored to client needs and provide optimal solutions
