Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Transaction Specialist to join our team at the Red Snapper Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial transactions, including the allocation of transactions to the ledger and the management of our accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Allocation: Ensure that all transactions posted to the bank statement are accurately allocated to the relevant ledger accounts.
- Bank Relationship Management: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with our bank to ensure timely resolution of any transaction discrepancies.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee the management of our accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all balances are accurate and up-to-date.
- Invoice Management: Ensure that all invoices are raised in a timely and accurate manner, and that all sales ledger entries are correctly recorded.
- Debt Collection: Administer our debt collection arrangements in line with our debt collection policy and procedure.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly aged debtor reports with detailed commentary to ensure that our financial position is accurately reflected.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Skills: Good Excel skills are required, as well as the ability to interpret organisational policy and procedure.
- Knowledge: Relevant understanding of a banking system and knowledge of relevant transaction flows is essential.
- Understanding: An understanding of a sales ledger and debt recovery procedures is also required.
- Track Record: A track record of providing a high-quality, customer-focused financial service is essential.
