Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Estates Management Officer to enhance the quality of our estate services.

This is a full-time temporary position aimed at individuals looking for professional development and growth opportunities.

Leadership and Oversight

As an Estates Management Officer, you will:

  • Lead a team of caretakers, ensuring that all estates are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Act as a motivational leader, providing coaching, inspiration, and support to help your team meet their personal and service goals.
  • Effectively manage team performance and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide weekend supervision of caretaker lodges and welfare facilities.
Service Excellence

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular inspections and monitoring of estate services.
  • Ensuring timely completion of health and safety tasks, including fire safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Identifying, ordering, and tracking communal repairs, prioritizing urgent health and safety issues.
  • Responding to emergencies and coordinating with residents, emergency services, and utility companies.
  • Collaborating with various teams, including Tenancy and Community Safety, to address issues of anti-social behavior.
  • Engaging proactively with the Community Development Team and other agencies.
  • Liaising with Tenant and Resident Associations, leaseholder groups, and other relevant bodies.
  • Conducting periodic joint inspections of all estates within your management area.
  • Presenting innovative ideas for service enhancements.
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the communities served.
  • Making recommendations for the improvement of communal areas and estate grounds.
  • Creating estate development plans that include proposals for enhancements.
  • Maintaining accurate estate performance reports and records for all areas of your work.
  • Utilizing the designated IT systems for recording information related to caretaking and safety inspections.

This role is essential in ensuring the effective management and improvement of our estates, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our residents.
