Position Overview

Central Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a dedicated Housing Management Specialist to join our team. This role is focused on providing essential support to individuals in maintaining their housing arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Deliver a comprehensive housing management service to tenants and licensees.
  • Act as a representative of the organization, fostering positive relationships with clients, licensees, and their support teams to ensure a pleasant living environment.
  • Establish strong connections with clients, care teams, and community members within the designated area.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external support providers to offer a housing management service that meets the needs outlined in the support service specifications.
  • Regularly assess the condition of properties, schemes, and estates through inspections, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Manage gardening and cleaning services within the area, ensuring compliance with service specifications.
  • Work alongside Asset Management and Care and Support teams to implement procedures for managing vacant properties and meeting turnaround targets.
  • Possess experience in housing management, including estate services, maintenance, and providing advice on housing and welfare benefits.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of housing legislation and best practices related to the management of rented and supported social housing.
  • Monitor the performance of external contractors and service providers, taking necessary corrective actions.
  • Analyze straightforward numerical and statistical data effectively.
  • Utilize IT systems to track performance metrics.
Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 12 months of paid experience in a frontline social care role within the last three years.
  • A fully enhanced DBS check, either registered on the update service or issued recently, or a willingness to apply for one through our agency.
