About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Hestia Housing Support. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises in our residential service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, non-clinical support to residents, promoting their recovery and well-being.
  • Develop and deliver individualized support plans, working closely with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the effectiveness of support plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, support provided, and outcomes.
  • Liaise with other service providers, statutory agencies, and community resources to ensure a comprehensive support network for residents.
  • Participate in promoting and developing service standards, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, applying this knowledge to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting individuals with mental health needs, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Strong understanding of recovery approaches, co-production, and the complexities of mental health.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging activities that promote resident confidence, self-esteem, and recovery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in MS Office systems, including case management software.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, welfare reform, and housing pathways.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
