About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Testing Specialist to join our team at RGE Services Ltd. As an Electrical Testing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical systems, including identifying and addressing potential safety hazards.
  • Perform electrical remedial works, including repairs and replacements of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Undertake new electrical inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Action reactive electrical works, including emergency lighting inspections and repairs.
  • Carry out company works as required, adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, promoting a positive external perception of the company.
  • Comply with company procedures and policies to ensure smooth delivery of our service.
  • Produce high-quality reporting on time and to agreed standards.
  • Adhere to the company's quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly.
Requirements
  • UK Driving Licence (required)
  • Experience in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing & installations, preferably within the public sector
  • A sound knowledge of tools, equipment & materials common to the Electrical Trade
  • Current Trade Qualifications
  • Good communication skills, both verbal & written
  • The ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings
  • IT literate
  • A commitment to great customer service
