The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt and sorting of internal and external mail, including recorded and special delivery items, and will be proficient in the use of a franking machine.
Key duties will include:
- Receiving and sorting mail, including recorded and special delivery items
- Dealing with enquiries from other departments, such as returned mail and missing parcels
- Logging complaints and resolving problems, including tracing parcels and escalating issues when necessary
- Assisting with the recording of items for departments who are invoiced for mail franking
- Arranging transportation of urgent specimens for collection and delivery to various laboratories across NHS Highland
This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Please note that this role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
